The volt is a solid helmet with abundant venting. Helmet adjustments are a snap when going from summer to fall (if you wear a head warmer). The down side to the helmets are two fold. As compared to other road bike helmet manufacturers, the Volt is a little heavy. Additionally, padding is sparse on this helmet and, depending on your head shape, you may find a contact point on the crown of your head that doesn't include any padding. Otherwise, this is a well ventilated helmet with many adjustments to fit most any head size.

The addition of the TAG Fit System means riders can adjust the helmets fit around the Occipital Lobe (that bump at the back of your head) both in width and height for a more conforming fit. And if you've ever picked up your helmet and thought, "What's that smell?" you'll appreciate the X-Static Padding which combines a quick-dry material with an anti-microbial coating. Bell's most impressive achievement may be the always-right graphics package.
